The SUCE Industry Night is a must-attend event for civil engineering students, particularly those in their penultimate or final year. It is the perfect opportunity to network with potential employers from some of the largest and most influential engineering companies.

SUCE is excited to announce the third industry talk in our PEP Industry Talk Package, featuring Nick Gaudry, a managing director at Probuild!
Join us on Zoom @5pm on Wednesday 21st of April, to learn more about their respective company's projects, and get a better understanding of what it's like working in these specific fields of civil engineering!

  • Will be required to submit a (minimum) 100 word feedback form on what you have learnt throughout this 4 part Industry Talk Series. This will be released after the final seminar.

Mid-semester break’s over so who is in need of refreshing their brains and social interactions? Want to create something fun applying what you learned? Regardless of what year you’re in, team up with a few friends and come to Build and Beers!

Build and Beers will be a structural design competition involving both students and faculty members as contestants. In teams of 4-5, you will aim to build the strongest truss bridge out of paddle pop sticks and glue within 2 hours. There will be a networking session afterwards, which will be a great opportunity for you to socialise with your cohort and (possibly) faculty members too

We are halfway through our Academic Seminar PEP Package Series! For our third academic seminar, we have Aaron Opdyke presenting "Disasters, development, and engineering a sustainable future". Come along and hear from Aaron how we should approach these challenges as a civil engineer to create a sustainable future. Everyone is welcome to attend and we hope to you there!
