The Sydney University Civil Engineers (SUCE) bridges the gap between university students and the industry workforce. We empower our members through exposure to a wide variety of practising engineers ranging from recent graduates to long-standing executive directors in major companies. SUCE also provides opportunities for students to enhance their understanding by connecting with leading academics in engineering. Socialisation and networking are essential for student development, that’s why SUCE holds multiple events throughout the semesters for students to meet their peers and develop deep and life-long relationships within the civil community.

Industry Engagement
SUCE helps connects motivated students with a diverse range of engineering companies and sectors including environmental, construction, transport and humanitarian. We provide multiple events throughout the year for students to engage with business leaders including our Industry Talk series and Networking Nights.
Social Events
Connecting engineering students with their peers is at the heart of what we do. Our social events help students feel in their element, whether it’s building bridges or sharing a pizza with friends. SUCE host a range of events including trivia, comfort food, build and beers, and our infamous End of Semester Party for an honest semester’s work!
Academic Experience
Technically interested students of engineering can enjoy SUCE’s range of academic seminars with topics ranging from engineering a sustainable future or surfing snow avalanches. Throughout the semester, these talks give individuals the opportunity to see and appreciate the applications of engineering through a different set of lens.
