Mid-semester break’s over so who is in need of refreshing their brains and social interactions? Want to create something fun applying what you learned? Regardless of what year you’re in, team up with a few friends and come to Build and Beers!

Build and Beers will be a structural design competition involving both students and faculty members as contestants. In teams of 4-5, you will aim to build the strongest truss bridge out of paddle pop sticks and glue within 2 hours. There will be a networking session afterwards, which will be a great opportunity for you to socialise with your cohort and (possibly) faculty members too
