Dispersion in the Urban Environment | Academic Seminar #5

☁️ What is dispersion and why is it a problem?

🔥 Ever wondered what happens to the smoke from bushfires?

🌬️ What about the mechanics behind how smoke is able to travel hundreds of kilometers?

📖 SUCE is proud to announce the final event of our Academic Seminar PEP Package, with Dr. Kapil Chauhan, presenting 'Dispersion in the urban environment'.

🧑‍🏫 In this seminar, students will be introduced to the problem of dispersion. A well-known example in Australia is the smoke from bushfires travelling hundreds of kilometers. This seminar will explain why dispersion is a significant problem and the associated challenges. We will then look at current engineering practices and some of the future opportunities in this field of civil engineering.
