‼️ ATTENTION ‼️ For the second instalment to our PEP package, we have a collaboration between EconSoc and SUCE to celebrate International Women’s Day 👩💼 and empower our wonderful ✨ female students ✨
Economics and Engineering remain to be largely male activities, and the more the senior the job grade, the more disproportionate the representation of women 📉 But we don’t want our female students to be disheartened - we know that female economists and engineers can make some of the most significant impacts on their field! 💪 This is why EconSoc and SUCE have teamed up to host a joint-event showcasing our incredibly accomplished female academics 🥰 We want to empower our female students, because we know that inspired women lead! 👩🏻👩🏽🦱🧕🏽👱🏼♀️
Get the 💫 opportunity 💫 to engage with USYD’s economics and engineering female academics 👩🏫 at our all-female academic panel! Learn from their challenges and experiences within their respective fields, and show your support for your fellow female economics and engineering students this International Women’s Day 🎉
All students studying (or interested in) economics and engineering, as well as eager to support their female peers 🫂, are more than welcome to attend! We look forward to seeing you there 😁
Please note that this a hybrid event - you may attend in-person or via Zoom! (in-person attendees get free food and drinks 🍕🥤)
